Brennen Keuchel of Hudson won the Ohio first-grade champion trophy at the 2007 Grade Level Chess Championships Dec 1.
Brennen competed with other first-graders from across Ohio. He won all five of his games.
Brennen and his brother, Connor, attended the 2007 National Scholastic K-12/Collegiate Chess Championship in Houston Dec 7 through 9.
