VIVACITY CHESS CENTER Thank you for your interest in applying to Vivacity Chess Programs. The following information will guide you through the application process. We welcome your questions; feel free to contact us for assistance.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
	Contact VIVACITY early in the preceding academic year to receive all necessary information. As space is limited and registration may require an interview/assessment, we recommend that interested families complete the registration process early. All forms must be completed and tuition submitted in advance. For admission to the School of Chess, all forms must be completed and tuition submitted BEFORE JULY 30.
	The application process includes three steps (see below). Submission of an application does NOT guarantee acceptance to the program.
	Before registering you are welcome to schedule a visit and meet our students and staff.
	The school year starts in September.

Application process includes:

STEP 1: APPLICATION

(1) Fill-out an Application & Waiver of Liability
(2) On a separate page, feel free to include any relevant information that could help in making a favorable decision.
(3) Mail your application and a $30 application fee to Vivacity. Applications are accepted by mail or in person.

STEP 2: ASSESMENT (School of Chess applicants ONLY; Others proceed to STEP 3)

(4) Upon receiving your Application Form AND Waiver of Liability AND Application Fee, your application will be reviewed. Selected applicants will be contacted to set up a meeting/assessment. An assessment is required in advance to be admitted to any of the School of Chess groups.
(5) Upon an assessment, accepted applicants will be assigned a program level for the upcoming school year. Applicant’s admission is subject to timely submission of tuition and all forms as outlined in STEP 3 below.

STEP 3: REGISTRATION

(6) Make tuition payment (according to the tuition and fee’s schedule posted online) and complete & sign the following three forms: Tuition and Fees AND Terms and Conditions AND Code of Honor. To be admitted to the School of Chess, all forms and tuition must be received by Vivacity BEFORE JULY 30.
