CALEB tied for SECOND place in the U1000 Section (and improved his rating by 127 points!) MAY 31, PWC, Solon, OH VIJAY took THIRD place in the U1500 Section LEO tied for 6th place in the U1500 Section (and improved his rating by 67 points!) NEEL tied for 6th place in the U1500 Section (and improved his rating by 75 points!) MAY 3-4, 2014 Ohio HS & MS Championships, Gates Mills, OH JONNY tied for 5th place in the HS Championship Section PRANAV took SECOND place in the MS Reserve Section and earned his first (provisional rating) LEO, NEEL and SAMIA competed in the Middle School Championship Section; it was the most challenging competition in their chess career so far. Students showed a strong resilience facing tough opponents. NEEL, as a member of Solon MS, took THIRD TEAM Place in the MS Championship. LEO as a member of Shaker Hts. MS, took 4th TEAM Place in the MS Championship. SAMIA as a member of Hawken MS, took 9th TEAM Place in the MS Championship. In the process, Leo improved his rating by 58 points while Samia gained 123 rating points.
