REGISTRATION:

To apply to Vivacity School of Chess follow the registration procedure: www.vivacityinc.com/chess/RegistrationProcedure.htm

Selected applicants will be contacted to set up a meeting/ assessment. An assessment is required in advance to be admitted to any of the School of Chess groups. To be admitted on the program, all forms and tuition must be received BEFORE August 1.

INFO:

There may be occasions throughout the year that the Vivacity Center will be closed, where normal dues are paid. This may be due to holidays, weather conditions, facility requirements, etc. It is also understood that Mr. Kitsis and/or any other Vivacity instructor may take up to 4 weeks vacation time off each year where normal dues are paid. On such occasions Vivacity Center will be closed; there will be an advance announcement, unless there is an emergency. There will be no refund for such occasions.

School of Chess Tuition
2008-09 School Year

TUITION

Annual tuition is $780 for Level 1 and $1,560 for Levels 2, 3 and 4. The tuition must be paid upon admission (see due dates below). Tuition can be paid in 1, 2 or 3 installments (see details below).
Tuition is non-refundable/non-transferable.

THREE Installments of
(This option is available ONLY with first installment made before AUGUST 1)

Level 1:		$ 260 x 3
Level 2, 3, and 4:		$ 520 x 3
DUE Dates:	Tuition installments should be paid before or on the following dates: August 1, September 15, and November 1
LATE FEE:	add $25 for tuition submitted after the subsequent due date

TWO Installments of
(This option is available ONLY with first installment made before AUGUST 20: before AUGUST 1 pay regular fee; between AUGUST 1 and AUGUST 20 - add $25 (late fee))

Level 1:		$ 390 x 2
Level 2, 3, and 4:		$ 780 x 2
DUE Dates:	Tuition installments should be paid before or on the following dates: August 1 and November 1
DISCOUNT:	Pay first installment BEFORE July 1 and receive $50 discount
LATE FEE:	add $25 for tuition submitted after the due date

ONE Installment of

Level 1:		$ 780
Level 2, 3, and 4:		$ 1,560
DUE Date:	Tuition in full should be paid before or on August 1
INCENTIVE (Level 2, 3, and 4):	Pay tuition in full between July 2 and July 25 and receive a free admission to the 2008-09 VSC series
DISCOUNT:	Pay tuition in full BEFORE July 1 and receive 15% discount

DISCOUNTS

Please note that discounts cannot be combined. The highest discount will be applied

For multi-member discounts, both members should adhere to the same payment schedule

	REFERRAL INCENTIVE: bring a new member and each receive $5 off of the next Vivacity special event! (This discount can be combined with a tuition discount)
	EARLY BIRD Discount: Pay in full for an annual membership by June 1 and receive $10 off of the next Vivacity special event! (This discount can be combined with a tuition discount)
	FAMILY Discount: 25% discount for a second and every additional family member (for a similar or lesser amount)
	GROUP Discount: 5% each
	TEACHERS AND CHESS CLUB ADVISORS: 5% discount each

LATE PAYMENTS

For payments made after the due date add $25 to the regular fee

Casual Visits
Only for new students; advance permission is required.
(Pay on-site BEFORE a program starts, space permitted):

$20.00	per visit (Level 1)
$40.00	per visit (Level 2 – 4)

One Month TRIAL
Only for new students between the months of May and August; advance permission is required.
(MONTHLY payment should be made BEFORE the 15^th day of the month preceding instructions):

$65.00	(Level 1)
$130.00	(Level 2 – 4)
