| RESULTS of the 2008/09 school year
|
- TWO students were awarded
scholarships
- THREE students became Ohio Champions
- TEN students were listed among the best Ohio
and/or National players in their respective age groups
- Overall, Vivacity students won over FIFTY awards in
state/national wide events.

- In addition to having great time and winning trophies, students also improved their ratings
(from September 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009):
- ROMAN K. improved his rating by 131 points
- KENT L. – by 150 points
- CONNOR K. – by 151 points
- DANNY A. – by 175 points
- JOE J. – by 231 points

- Gain of 100 or more rating points a year is a solid accomplishment by
national standards.
All of our students have exceeded a national benchmark. Yet, three students
managed to achieve much greater growth:

| 3rd BRENNEN K. improved his rating by 306 (a great result!)
2nd LAMONT W. – by 660 points (a fantastic result!)
1st JONATHAN Bo. improved his rating by unbelievable 687 points!

- Actually, Jonathan’s progress is among the three best in Vivacity’s history (2002-2009):

| 1st GRANT Nicholas improved by 921 points (2005/06)
2nd JACOB Oet improved by 854 points (2003/04)
3rd JONATHAN Botek improved by 687 points (2008/09)

- CONNOR K. and BRENNEN K. won 7 and 6 trophies respectfully, the most among Vivacity students.
RICHARD H. demonstrated the best result among non-rated players, winning
three first place and
one third place awards.
REBECCA L. applied her $72,000 scholarship (which she won in equal installments in 2007 and 2008)
toward the Texas Tech University; good bye Ohio!
